Plot

Maya is a Yakshini from Alkapuri, ruled by Kubera. Kubera cursed her that she could return to Alkapuri only if she killed 100 humans, the 100^th one being a virgin. Otherwise, she should live in the earth. After killing 99 people, she chooses Krishna. Krishna falls for her and marries her without knowing that she is going to kill him. When she is about to kill him, Mahakal intervenes. What is Mahakal’s intention? Is he trying to save Krishna or trying to stop Maya from reaching her home? The rest of the story deals with this.

Star Performance

Vedhika looks beautiful and has delivered a decent performance. Ajay’s role is the only solace in the series. His role is impactful. Lakshmi Manchu didn’t get a solid role. Rahul Krishna has tried to impress us with his performance but has not succeeded throughout the series.

Analysis

The story looks good on paper, but the weak writing and execution make it suffer. Though it starts on a good note, the wrong pacing and lack of depth in writing didn’t carry the series on the right track. Moreover, it switches the genre in frequent intervals. The protagonist’s family sequences are irritating, though they are added to make the audience laugh with their funny dialogues. The romance scenes look forcedly inserted. The music is not much impressive. The visuals are good, and the VFX is decent.
