Plot

Nuragala Badiri from Chepalawada is a fisherman. He is educated and intelligent as well. Ganga from Matsyawada and Badiri fell in love with each other. Badiri, along with other fishermen from Andhra Pradesh, who ventured for fishing in Gujarat, mistakenly crossed the Pakistan border in 2018. They were detained by the Pakistan government for 2 years. What happened next? Were they able to come back? The rest of the series follows their story.

Star Performance

Satyadev once again proves his mettle with this fisherman role. He is impressive as Badri. Anandhi did her best. The rest of the stars have done what was required of them.

Analysis

The film’s theme is a well-known one, and we can see the trace of the latest released film of the similar genre. However, this series is well-made with no overhyped features. It showcases the issues fishermen face and also suggests measures to avoid border-crossing. The VFX work is not appealing. A few episodes are slow-paced. The screenplay is good and it travels straight towards the target without deviating. The music and visuals are okay. The editing is pretty decent, too.
