Prabhata Sevanjali is a religious program telecasted on SVBC Channel. It gives the audience a chance to take a glimpse at the beauty of the famous Tirumala temple. It is a hill town where the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple is located, which is considered as the residence of Lord Venkateswara.
Sri Venkateswara Brahmotsavam is celebrated yearly during September/October. It is the most integral festival in Tirumala. Lakhs of devotees assemble over a short span of nine days in the city. The city enjoys all major Hindu festivals, including Sankranti, Ugadi, etc. Vaikunta Ekadasi. It is believed that on this day, Vaikunta Dwaram will be opened. Rathasapthami is another festival which is enjoyed during the spring. In February, Lord Venkateswara's processional deity, (Malayappa) is taken into a procession around the temple on seven different bananas(rides) from early morning to late night.
