History Of Rajasekhara is the name of the novel. It was named Rajasekhara Charitra while turning it into a tv serial. It was a half an hour tv serial that was aired weekly. It was set in ancient times when kings and queens used to rule the countries. The novel was written in 1878, and the serial is also set in that timeline. In the serial it starts with Rajasekhara, the protagonist doing many wrong works. He has no sense of the things going around him and does not know how to do things.

He is ignorant and innocent. Some might call him half-mad. His family members are disturbed due to all of his works. He does many things by which his family members have suffered a great deal of loss. Later in the show, many things change, and his family members can recover from all the loss. Rajasekhara believes in god and has blind faith in gods. He is spending a lot of money in many temples. He does not care about anything and has no understanding of what he should do with his money. He has some bad friends and some bad relatives. They all just want his money and nothing else. They all make him believe that they care for him, and he spends all of his money on his friends and relatives. He loses all his gold, thinking that these are making him follow blind beliefs.

After losing everything, he leaves his place to go to some other place. While moving to the other places, he sees a man in distress. He finds out that the man is named Rama Raju. He saves him from dying and then takes him along the way. He wants his daughter to grow up becoming a beast. After that, a person from the side of kings comes to collect all the debts from him. When he is unable to do that, he marries her daughter, he goes to jail for not paying his debt. Later, after all that trouble, he comes to know that his superstitions have caused him a lot of money and has given him many troubles. He decides to leave all the superstitious things and wants to start a new life. Later he is free from jail. He goes to live with his family members.
