Kalankitha is an ETV Telugu channel serial. The serial has been directed by S. Rajendra and produced by RamojiRao. The story, art and screenplay have been done by Suman, while the dialogues have been done by Jagannatha Sharama. S. VasuRao has done the music director for the project, while S. Janaki has contributed her voice to the title track. ‘Kalankitha’, meaning tarnished, is the base plot of the story. It narrates the tale of an ordinary woman who goes through many hardships in life. Incidents that tarnish and overstep her boundaries at each step of her sorrowful existence. This show is one of the old gems of TV serials when storytelling was epic with powerful characters.
