Actress Kutty Padmini was a child artist in black and white era, who had enacted with top artists in the industry. In ‘Kuzhandhaiyum Deivamum’ she had played the twin character with the right mix of mischief and innocence. By the time, she got offers in ‘Kaathiruntha Kanngal’ and ‘Paasamalar’ and acted as junior Savitri, she was a changed kid-star. She had developed confidence, panache, and even a sense of ease in talking to people. It showed on-screen too. She was absolutely mesmerizing in those two films. 

She got her first break as a child artistes when she was just three-year old. Her first film was ‘Bhagyalakshmi’. She is the one of the best child actress- ever- even Kamal Haasan has co-starred with Kutty Padmini in memorable films throughout 1960s. She was one among the child artists, who had worked with all leading stars like Jai Shankar, Gemini Ganesan, Sivaji Ganesan, Savitri and K R Vijaya. In her time, she was perfect in song sequences, comic timing and emotional scenes. When Sridhar had cast her in ‘Nenjil Oru Aaalayam’, she achieved so much stardom and popularity in South that when the same film was re-made in Hindi as ‘’Dil Ek Mandir’’, she got a chance to act with Meena Kumari even. 

She was the last child of the couple Srinivasa Chakravarthy – Radha Bhai. The couple had two sons and two more daughters. Her mother too had acted in a few films. 

She excelled as a child artiste. As long as people remember Tamil movies Kutty Padmini’s name is bound to stand out as someone who made a significant contribution to Kollywood. 

Among all her movies as an adult artiste, she was seen as supporting actress in most of Visu’s films. Her popularity as supporting actress in films like ‘’Avargal’’ and ‘’Aval Appadithan’’ (Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan) and in’’ Kan Simitturm Neram’’ which was a debut for actor Sarath Kumar, became highly popular. She was supporting actress in Tamil cinema till 80’s. Later on, she moved to the small screen. She is currently producing and directing ‘Romapuri Pandiyan’ a historical serial telecasted in a popular Tamil TV channel. She is also a creative director of a TV serial on Hindu saint Ramanujar that was penned by Kalaignar Karunanidhi. 

Kutty Padmini received the Lifetime Achievement award in the South Indian Cinematographers Association (SICA) Awards 2015.

Menaka was a renowned heroine of South India during the 1980s. In fact, she was very busy during these years and gained recognition in Malayalam films. She is reputed for the village roles, that she portrayed on screen. Her pairing with Malayalam actor Shankar proved very successful. She also shared good chemistry wit Mohanlal, Mammootty and Soman. The 1980 flick Oppol is the debut Malayalam film of Menaka. But prior to that, she had worked in a Tamil film and had gained recognition for her role. During the course of time Menaka received plump roles and worked with young heroes during that time. The 1982 flick Ente Mohangal Poovaninju with whom she shared screen space with Shankar was one of her notable films. Poochakkoru Mookkuthi, Oru Nokku Kanan, Archana Aaradhana, Ayalvasi Oru Daridravasi, Amme Narayana, Parayanumvayya Parayathirikkanumvayya are some of her other notable films.

After a sabbatical of 19 years Menaka returned to the industry with the serial Kaliveedu She didn’t act for some time and returned with the Fazil’s flick Living Together after 6 years. When she entered Malayalam film industry Menaka didn’t know Malayalam. But she eventually learned it and became very successful in Malayalam film industry.

Kalpana Priyadarshini or Kalpana was born in 1965 in Kerala. Nanjil Nalini is a professional Indian actress. She preferably works in the Tamil film and television industry. Nalini was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Nalini made her first acting debut in the cinema “Andru Kanda Mugam” with Ravichandran, which was directed and produced by Ramakrishnan. She likes dancing and her favorite artists are Meryl Streep and Sylvester Stallone.

Immanuel Vasanth Dinakaran, acknowledged as D. Imman, is an Indian big screen musician and songster mainly for Tollywood. Imman was in Chennai in Sothern parts of India on 24 January 1983. He did his schooling Don Bosco, Egmore, Chennai and completed his graduation in Pachaiyappa's College. He did his Master's from Madras University. Immanuel got married on 24th April 2008 to Monica Richard, and the couple is blessed with two adorable daughters.

He started playing roles in plays in the year of 1946 and he entered into movies in the year 1957.He has a 68 year vast experience in the acting field. Ramana Murthy J.V acted in many family plays such as "N.G.O.", "Evaru Donga", "Kappalu", "Naatakam", "KeerthiSeshulu", "Kaala Ratri", "Phani" and "Katamaraju Kadha" and he toured all over  the state displaying his plays. All the plays mentioned above are some vernacular plays telling about the situation of society at that time. He got fame all over for his famous role of Gireesham in the play ‘Kanyasulakam’ which was written by most famous Telugu writer Gurajada Appa Rao. He played the same character for more than 500 times. He received very high numerous felicitations across all over the state of Andhra Pradesh for his contribution to the field of plays called as ‘natakalu’ in Telugu.

His first movie in the Telugu film history wan a socio-political drama named M.L.A. Later on he acted in more than 100 films.

Recently, veteran actor Ramana Murthy entered into a different domain, he produced a short film based on his own life experiences. The short film was titled “Inti Kanna Gudi Padilam”. It has been to a contest running as a part of ‘Save Temples First International Short Film Festival’.

J.V. Ramana Murthi is an Indian actor who works mainly in South Indian film industry. He was born on 20 May 1933 in Vizianagaram district. J.V. Ramana is younger brother of the famous Indian film actor Jonnalagadda Venkata Somayajulu, who worked in Tollywood film industry. His brother J.V. Somayahulu passed away on Tuesday, 24 April 2004 in a city hospital at the age of 76.During his school days, J.V. Ramana uses to participate in school plays. He has acted in numerous school plays such as NGO, Kappalu, Natakam, Evaru Donga, Phani, Keerthi Seshulu and Katamraju Katha. J.V. has won an award for best performance in Interuniversity Competition for a drama called Vishwa Shanti of Athreya.
