Actress Manel Chinthamani Wanaguru works in Sri Lankan theatre, film, and television. Manel Wanaguru was born on October 18, 1951. Her father, Dudley Samuel Wanaguru, was an actor. Wanaguru is married to Ananda Wickramage, a renowned actor and comedian. The couple has two sons, Janith Wickramage & Sanketh Wickramage, both of whom are actors. Manel Wanaguru’s acting career was awe-inspiring. She had experience working on numerous television series, including ‘Akuru Maki Na,’ ‘Anne,’ ‘Bath Amma,’ and ‘Bindunu Sith.’ She had experience working on theatrical productions such as ‘Raja Kapilla,’ ‘Su Saha Guru,’ etc. Manel Wanaguru received two Deepashika Awards in 1974 for ‘Kasthuri Suwanda’ for the best dramatic performance and once more in 2021 for the U.W.
