Sydney Chandrasekara was born on 15 January 1959. He was a Sri Lankan journalist, lyricist, director, and a prominent media personality. He was one of the iconic figures of Sri Lankan media. Chandrasekara has contributed to several television programs over a career spanning more than four decades. He was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He completed his education at Ananda College, Colombo. Sydney Chandrasekara died on 14 November 2020, at sixty one, after being taken to the hospital for a routine checkup. He is a senior reporter, television plan maker, and writer who labored comprehensively in Sri Lankan media.

Sriyantha Mendis was born on October 25, 1957, in Ragama, Sri Lanka, as the eldest child of a family of three. His father, Hiddadura Lazarus Mendis, worked as a timekeeper for the Ceylon Transport Board and later became the director of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority. His mother, Eliadura Karoline Soyza, is a teacher at the Convent of the Holy Family and is also involved in music in Heywood. Mendis completed his education at De Mazenod College in Kandana. However, Mendis has an exceptional talent for karate and excels in it.
