Jatra Maha Mukabilla is a folk theatre competition program on Tarang TV. The show is in Odia. The show celebrates the rich culture and traditions of the Jatra. Jatra is a very popular folk theatre in Odisha. Various jatra groups were invited to the show as participants. This show followed the format of a reality show. The participants competed against each other to win this competition and earn the title of this show. Their storytelling skill and theatrical performance was judged and a winner was finally chosen. As the older art forms are rarely acknowledged nowadays, this show helped to spread them to a broader audience. All the episodes are available on Tarang TV's official YouTube channel and website for online streaming. Its first episode was released on YouTube on 16 March 2021.
