A life story of Saint Shankar Maharaj from 1800 - 1947 a Perfect Master in the tradition of the Nath Siddhas and was one of the greatest Yogi saints of Maharashtra in the modern era. He was an Auliya or Avadhut(a term used for yogis) who have attained perfection and attained Siddhis. He belonged to the Nath Panth (Sect), although he did not follow their dress code or manners. He was born around 1800 in Mangalwedha. Family named Upasani and took samadhi in Pune after about 150 years. On April 28, 1947, Maharaj was found in a jungle by his childless adoptive parents, Chimnaji-Parvati, tasked with a vision to search for him. In this journey, we see how this boy turns out to be a Yogi, Yogyogeshwar Shankar Maharaj. It lights up the lives of many. He travelled the world and brought change to their lives. It includes his teaching, "Live life for the welfare of the people."
