and Ravindra Mankani as the lead roles and tells the story of a family which struggles for the right to property and power in the midst of family politics. Dadasaheb Zunjarrao is the patriarchal leader of the family. He is portrayed as an influential and powerful man who would do anything for his family. He is smart to make decisions and remains strong when the family faces dire situations.
When it’s time, Surya who is his son, decides to follow in the footsteps of his father and becomes the leading patriarch of the family. During this time, the family faces political issues regarding both property and power from their relatives and enemies who are determined to overthrow Surya. However, Surya remains strong throughout the whole time and takes some decisions which test him in ways he couldn’t imagine. How Surya copes with the situation and whether he emerges as a better person than his father constitutes the rest of the serial.
