This series is inspired by the Zee Tamil serial Anna. The series is also remade in Kannada as Annayya in Zee Kannada and in Marathi as Lakhat Ek Aamcha Dada on Zee Marathi.

Koode is the story of a brother who cares for his sisters and lives only for them. Lost their mother at an early age, Gangadhar and his four younger sisters are left alone with their father. As the father is influenced much by alcoholism and doesn’t care for his children, Gangadhar takes the role of his father and safeguards his sisters. Though he is caring for them too much, he doesn’t know if they have dreams. His main ambition is to get his sisters married into a decent family. Will he ever try to understand his sisters’ ambitions? The rest of the story deals with Gangadhar, his sisters, and Gangadhar’s love life.
