Zeenath is an Indian  actress in Malayalam movies and television serials. She has done supporting roles and character roles in many Malayalam movies without any career breaks since 1991.She has bagged the Kerala state film and television awards twice in her career, former as best dubbing artist and later as best actress.

Zeenath was born in 1962 at Nilambur, Malappuram district in a mediocre Muslim family. She has six siblings. She was one of the early few Muslim actresses in Malayalam cinema, inspired by yesteryear actress Nilambur Ayisha’s success in the industry. Her acting career in Malayalam films started in 1978 with a small role in the movie Chuvanna Vithukal, a socio-political film by P.A Backer, alongside Nilambur Balan, Nilambur Ayisha and Santhakumari. She has done supporting roles in handful of movies in 1980s. Since 1991 she has become an indispensable part of Malayalam movies as character artists. She has left no stone unturned in choosing character roles in Malayalam movies and her versatility as an actor was evident in the spectrum of roles she has done, such as a bold woman Kadappuram Karthyayani in the movie Godfather ( 1991), as loving mother in  Meenathil thalikettu (1998) and as a society lady in Mr. Butler (2000). She has not restricted herself to any type roles which helped her in having such a long, break-free acting career as supporting actress in Malayalam movies. She has done over hundred movies with almost all leading directors in the field and also shared screen with all the superstars and leading actors. Her recent movies in year 2014 are Gunda, Pichaathi, Aleef, Parayan Baaki Vechathu.

Zeenath has acted in many professional dramas early in her career and has won the best actress award in Muslim Education Trust drama competition. She has also acted in some television serials, first beings a telefilm in Doordarshan named Poovan Pazham, alongside Nedumudi Venu, based on the famous short story of Vaikom Muhammad Basheer, for which she won the Best Actress Award at Kerala State television awards 1991. Recently, she has acted in A M Nazeer’s popular soap Parinayam and Shiju Aroor’s Bhagyadevatha in Mazhavil Manorama. She has also dubbed for Actress Swetha Menon in director P.T Kunju Muhammed’s  Paradesi in 2007, for which she won the Kerala State Best Dubbing Artist Award 2007. 

In personal life, Zeenath was married first to Malayalam drama director K.T Muhammed in 1977 and got divorced in 2007. She has a son Jithin in that relation. She later married Mr. Anil Kumar and the couple has a son, Nithin Anil. Zeenath lives with family in Kochi.

Born on November 25th, 1987, Krishna Prabha is a well-known Malayalam Actress.  Born in Ernakulam in Kerala, she did her schooling from St. Joseph’s and completed her graduation from Sacred Heart. This twenty-seven-year old artist is not only a fine actress; she is a magnificent dancer too. 

She also has acted in a lot of comedy serials in Malayalam and anchored a lot of comic programs on T.V. Comedy is not an easy expression to bring out, but Krishna Prabha ensures her best in comic avatars. This professional dancer doyen both classical and cinematic dance forms with repose and is a well acclaimed dancer par excellence.

This actress set foot into the acting world with a movie known as Madambi, directed by the famous director B.Unnikrishnan in the year 2008, which was a box –office hit film. She won her first award in the Best Female Comedy Actress category in the year 2009. Her filmography graph is in its correct trajectory. It includes, Utharaswayamvaram, Oru Black & White Kudumbam, Gulumaal: The Escape, Dr. Patient and My Big Father in 2009. The year 2010 saw her in Raamaanam and Kadaksham, which is a women oriented film. Year 2012 followed with Naughty Professor, a comical movie directed by Hari Narayanan and Ee Adutha Kaalathu, where she plays the role of Bindu in the movie, directed by Arun Kumar Aravind.

For this multi-talented maestro, the world is indeed her stage for she performs across the globe.  Not only does she don her acting hat with efficiency, but her dancing skills are brilliant. Film, Dance and Music have always been her zeal and she ensures she does thorough justice in each act.

Born in Kochi, in the state of Kerala, Santhakumari has been a predominant actress featuring in over 250 Malayalam movies and several Malayalam serials. Her career has spanned over 34 years, from 1976 to the present. Santhakumari was born as the eighth child out of ten, to parents Narayanan and Karthyayani, and completed her primary education from Thevara 

C.C.P.L.M High School Ernakulam.

Her career span saw her receiving the prestigious Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress for Chuvanna Vithukal in 1977, and also presented with a house, named “Snehaveedu” by the Malayalam Movie Artists Association in 2012. In 2011, she was also the recipient of the prestigious Kerala Film Critics Association Awards – the Chalachitra Prathibha Award.

Santhakumari made her debut in 1967 in the movie Iruttinte Aatmavu, after which she got her first major career break in the movie Secretary in 1976, following which she has acted in several well received and critically acclaimed movies in supporting roles.

Her career has also taken her to the silver screen in Malayalam, where she has acted in popular shows on TV including Sthree & Omanathinkal Pakshi (Asianet) and has featured in interviews including Oli Mangatha Tharakal on Surya TV.
