P Subramaniam was an Indian director who worked for the Malayalam film industry. He was born on 19th February 1910 in Nagercoil, Travancore. He was a multitalented director, producer, distributor, theatre owner, and mayor. Subramaniam has Kerala’s second film studio known as Merryland Studio, which established in 1951. He worked in many movies like SreeMurugan in 1977, Swami Ayyappan in 1975, Kaadu in 1973, Rowdy Rajamma in 1977, and many more.

Valayar Ramavarma was an Indian poet and lyricist. He was a modern Malayalam lyricist as well as a poet. Some of his famous works are Padamudrakal, Oru Judas Janikkannu, Mulankaadu, Sargasangeetham, etc. Valayar was born on 25 March 1928, in a village of Valayar, Alappuzha, Kerala. Pamman was born on 28th February 1920 in Kollam, Kerala. Pamman is regarded as one of the most gifted and prolific writers in the history of Keralite literature. Most of Pamman’s novels and writing pieces always tackled taboo subjects like human sensuality and sexuality. Pamman wrote around 50 novels, few of which were made into films.

His most famous novel is Chattakari which has been transformed into a film on multiple occasions. The novel deals with the subject of having a child out of wedlock. In 1974, Chattakkari was released as a Malayalam film with Lakshmi playing the character of Julie and Mohan Sharma as Sasi. M G Soman was a South-Indian actor. He acted in Malayalam films. His actual name is Somashekharan Nair. He was born in Tiruvalla, Kerela on 28 October 1941. At a very tender age, he started his drama club with his friends and performed, Manaltharikal Garjikkunnu. He was born to K.N. Govinda Panicker and mother P.K. Bhavaniyamma. Bhaskar Chandavarkar is a musician, music composer, director and educator who was a prominent figure in the film and television industry. He was born on 16th March, 1936 in Pune, Maharashtra. He completed his graduation from Wadia College, Pune in contemporary music. He also studied jazz and western contemporary music from Fergusson College, Pune.
