Afterward, he assisted Arvind Kaushik in a television series before he made his acting debut in the Kannada film, Tuglak (2012), which Kaushik also directed. In 2013, Shetty did a small stint as a police officer in Pawan Kumar’s romantic psychological thriller film, Lucia.
