1. Nandini Gowda
Nandini Gowda is a famous actress working in the Kannada TV industry. In 2007, she played the role of Nandini Jadhav in the ETV Kannada serial, “Manthana” directed by SN Sethuram. She was seen in an important role alongside Lakshmi Chandrasekhar and Sudha Belawadi. Nandini was also seen in a prominent role in Muktha Muktha directed by TN Seetharam. Ardha Satya, a DD Chandana serial also had Nandini in an important role.

Malavika Avinash is a South Indian film actress, notable television serial performer and an acclaimed anchor. She was born to N Ganesan and Savithri. Her mother was a famous writer, an acclaimed vocalist and an accomplished dancer. She started learning Bharatanatyam even from her school days. She also learned Sitar in her early teen ages. Her entry into the profession of acting came as a surprise when the famous director G V Iyer happened to see her dancer concert and made note of her. He gave her a chance as Krishna in his movie “Krishnavathar” and it was a colossal success. Following it she performed in a children’s movie “Nakkalla Raajakumari” directed by Prema Karanth’s and it received grant recognition.
She took her graduation in Bachelor of Law at Banglore University with 3rd rank. She married a national and state award winning actor Avinash.
She then acted in the award winning Malayalam film by director Lenin Rajendran. However later she turn her attention to Mini screen industry which gave her extreme adoration than ever before. Her famous works are “Mayamruga’, “Baduku Jataka Bandi on Zee Kannada” a family story, “Nilavai Pidippom” a Tamil melodrama, “Pudhuyugam” a nice comedy serial, “Pralayam” a hilarious serial, and a amusing “Comedy colony” under the direction of Balachander. Her most adored performance during recent times is “Chellamay” where she played the protagonist role of Muththazhagi. A movie based on the death of the former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, “Cyanide” was other notable performance. Malavika also thrilled the Kannada audience with her appearance as a sturdy IPS police officer in “Mukhtha”.
Malavika is not a character who is known only in film circles. She campaigned for Sushma Swaraj in 1999 in Bellary. She joined BJP in 2013 and now play an active role in politics.
Malavika Avinash is now a contestant of BIg Boss Kannada Season 4.

H. S. Venkateshamurthy, also known as Dr. Hodigere Shanbhog Venkateshmurthy, was born on 23 June 1944 in Hodigere village, Channagiri Taluk, Shimoga District. His father is Narayana Bhatta, and his mother is Nagarathnamma. He is an Indian film director, playwright, children's literature writer, professor, translator, critic and poet in Kannada Literature and Cinema.
