The show highlighted body shaming, drug addiction, LGBTQ, depression, physical abuse, and other issues that today’s youth are facing. RejctX is the secret music band consisting of a group of students in the school. After Aarav settles back into the school after the incidents featured in the first season, a full-fledged investigation into Anushka’s murder begins, and Officer Rene is in charge.

Sid is shot by someone on campus and is in the hospital. Aarav, Maddy, Harry, Parnomita, Misha, and Sehmat are all blackmailed by an X. X is the reason Aarav pushed Kiara off the terrace in the climax of the first season. Harry was saved by X from some goons for letting Maddy win a fight in an MMA event. Parnomitra, the mean girl of the school, along with her boyfriend Steve, runs Bitch Board, a platform to bitch about people. They reveal an evil truth about a girl named Kim, and she is expelled from the school. She commits suicide on a live camera while everyone is watching.

Feeling guilty that this happened because of Bitch Board, Parnomitra and Steve take it down. Misha confronts Sehmat and reveals that she has feelings for her. When a girl picks on Sehmat in the washroom, Misha fights for her. Rene’s senior takes her off the case, but Rene is more than resolved to solve it. When X individually calls Aarav, Maddy, Harry, Parnomita, Misha, and Sehmat to a dingy place, they all find out that they are being blackmailed by the same person, and the X gave them a sinister task to do.

Aarav finds out that he has a doppelgänger named Jackie. Jackie and Aarav decide to put their minds and resources together for the investigation. Rene teams up with the RejctX to find X. The band suspect Hussain, and Aarav and Kiara confront him. The identity of X is revealed. The band slowly manages to creep out of the blackmail, the lies, and the deceit.
