Rejctx is a thriller about the life of students belonging to a high school, Jefferson School, London.

The show highlighted body shaming, drug addiction, LGBTQ, depression, physical abuse, and other issues that today’s youth are facing. RejctX is the secret music band consisting of a group of students in the school. The first episode opens on the day of the music competition the band has dreamt about. They realise that their lead singer, Aarav, is missing. His girlfriend, Kiara, sets out to find what happened to him. The next episodes go back and forth between the past and present. Kiara goes to the Principal, Farhan Hussain, he says that Aarav’s father said that Aarav went to Delhi to visit his ailing mother. The events that have led up to that moment are featured. Kiara suspects that Paromitra and Steve might be involved with Aarav’s disappearance when she finds out that Paromitra and Aarav had a bad past and that Steve and Paromitra are weirdly close.

In the past, Anushka and Aarav were a thing. She lured him to her to distract him from studies, sports, and the things that mattered to him. When he finds out that Anushka was having an affair with her coach, Aarav gets furious and records a rap. Anushka then persuades him to take part in a rap battle, and he fails miserably. After that, he finds out that Anushka had an affair with his father, and he completely pushed her away. He finds a song written by Sehmat, another student, and raps it. The outcome of the song motivated him to start the band ‘RejctX’. Kiara and Aarav started dating, but when a nude picture of her got released, she blamed him for it.

When the band got a wild card entry into a prestigious music competition, Kiara decided to sort out her differences with Aarav as he was the lead singer. On the day of the competition, Aarav goes missing. Since it was a huge opportunity, the band decides to move forward with the performance without their leas singer. They face their second obstruction when a body hanging by a noose suddenly pops out in the centre of the stage. Aarav is rescued with the help of Hussain. He is immediately taken to the hospital, where the rest of the band meets him. Aarav experiences withdrawal symptoms from the drugs he’s been injected with during the time he’s been kidnapped. He struggles to get back to normal. After finding out about his father’s crimes, he runs towards him with a gun.
