Kaali 2 is a web series that came out in the year 2020. The show is the second season of the 2018 super hit thriller web series, Kaali. In the second season, the story follows the same mother and son, but the circumstances have changed. Kaali, after saving her son in season 1 of the show, is hiding with her son in a witness protection program that is being supervised by the officer, Aniket. They seem to be in good hands but soon all such speculations are thrown out of the window when JinLiang escapes during his deportation. This forces Kaali to save her and her son’s life and take the charge. But while her intentions are good, her actions are questionable as she ends up looting a huge drug consignment with the help of an uprising drug mafia. This pushes her into more trouble. The rest of the plot follows her as she tries to straighten her life.

The second season again is set in the dark underbelly of Kolkata. The city provides the show with slick, edgy, and dark undertones which makes the show incredibly thrilling.
