Plot
Gadar Singh is a Police Inspector working in Delhi. To investigate a weird crime scene deeply, he had to befriend Sakshi Murmu, a psychiatric intern. Sakshi also has psychic powers. Seven bodies hanging in a circular form in a house in East Delhi, near the banks of Jamnaa, created great havoc. While the rest of the world is in shock, Gadar and Sakshi started investigating it deeply, trying to pull off the crime that spans decades. Was it a group suicide or murder? The series speaks about this.
Star Performance
Manav Vij delivered a wonderful performance as a disgraceful cop. Whenever his temper is tested, he reacts strongly. Manav has just stepped in the shoes of Gadar and lived the character. Monika played Sakshi, gracefully. Her character has different perspectives and she shines in all. Saloni’s character adds a complex to the plot and she gives the needed strength to the story with her performance.
Analysis
The series starts with an interesting note and the audience are made to sit and watch all the episodes the same day. That’s the power of screenplay and direction. Yet, the series has some pacing issues. When we are introduced to a thrill, before we feel it completely, it is taken back. The lead characters are developed well. The perception from which Saloni’s character sees the case differs, and it adds some turns to the narrative. The cinematography is neat and the editing, too. BGM is decent in the investigation and revelation scenes.
