2013 was witness to Star Parivar announcing their dancing reality show Maharashtracha Dancing Superstar - Chhote Masters. Reality TV shows had started taking up a huge space on the schedule of several million viewers. This show takes its unique aim at giving children in Maharashtra, within the age range of 6 years to 14 years, a golden opportunity to showcase their talent and dancing potential. One of the several extraordinary children was awarded the crown and tag of Maharashtracha Dancing Superstar. The show kick-started on the 23rd of September with stunning audience reviews and crowd support. The judges have shown their excitement with Savio saying that this prestigious position as a judge helps him use his personal experiences and knowledge to inspire and encourage kids with aspirations and dreams towards the much-celebrated art form of dance.

Vishwas on the other hand very humbly said that this stage not only gives the children an opportunity to showcase their talent, but he takes this as an experience from which he can learn a lot. Amruta, a notable actor and the third judge on the panel said that, she has a very significant task on hand because she will be representing the feelings and emotional front of the viewers.

Chinmay, who brilliantly hosted the show acknowledged the positive vibes that children emit, saying that it was his honor to be so close to the children and their innocence. Auditions for this show, conducted in Pune, Nashik, Mumbai, Aurangabad, and Kolhapur, received a wooing 7000+ participation inputs from very enthusiastic children out of which 120 got selected. The final audition was hosted in Mumbai for the selection of the final contestants.
