Health Challenge is a TV show aired on Food Food. It is an entertainment show which targets mainly ladies, who are working as well as housekeepers, is based on a concept of making regular dishes healthier. Some food items like onion bhajis, biryanis, moong dal, chaklis, pizzas, vada pav, chicken and cheese-burgers are all transformed into nutritious dishes. The episode one starts with Chef Saransh Goila making the most popular street food of Mumbai, the Vada Pav, healthier. It is usually fried in a well of oil and is made up of 90% potatoes which make it rich in calories. Instead, chef minimizes the use of potato making is less oily without compromising on the taste.

Later, the dish is served on the table for judge’s comments. They give it an approval along with some useful tips. According to them, chef Saransh could use sweet potatoes in place of potatoes which are rich in Vitamin C. Then further, in the next episode, he takes up the task of preparing a pizza which would be 30% more healthy. He starts with the preparation of dough. Later, decides to make a thin crust and then applies the pizza sauce. He chops the onions and capsicum and places them as toppings. He grates the cheese on it keeping a check on its quantity. He advises using only 10 grams of it. He replaces it with tofu which is a protein punch to your pizza.

Later, the remaining ingredients like the chili flakes, herbs are added. Further, he places it in an oven for twelve minutes at a temperature of 180 degree Celsius. At last, he brushes the perfect, thin crust pizza with olive oil and cuts it into pieces. Now, judges are ready to taste it for corrections and tips. The third segment starts with health tips with a display of the benefits of walnuts. Later, the judges pull Saransh's leg, acting as if he didn't perform up to the par, asking him to taste his dish. They give their comments and also suggest to replace the cheese completely with tofu.

The crust made out of soya and wheat flour is crispy, and because of this combination, the gluten content decreased. At the end of each episode, the recap of the recipe is shown with good voice over and giving little details that you might have missed while noting down. It is very helpful for the viewers. The unique concept of making regular, calories stuffed, junk food into a healthy dish gained appreciation. People started giving positive comments about the show as this new version of the usual receptors were helpful.
