Sunil Borkar is a Mumbai based cinematographer born on January 28, 1991. He came from a northeastern town in Maharashtra. He pursued his education in animation in Pune. He started his career as a 2D animator and visual effects artist. Sunil’s career got a boost when he became the Visual Effects Supervisor. This boost introduced him to film sets, where his interest evolved in cinematography. His debut film, The Fable, was shot on a super 16mm film and premiered in the Encounter section at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival 2024.
