Tejpur General Store is a Hindi series that started airing on Doordarshan on 9^th June 2021.

Paro Mitra is from Tejpur. She is a strong-willed woman who takes rest only after completing the task assigned or fixed. She moves to Mumbai in search of a job. She gets a job in a company, and soon, she becomes famous for her outspoken nature. Akash is an aspiring singer. However, he had to take his family business due to an uncomfortable situation in his family. Paro’s boss asks her to meet Malhotra related to a project. On the way, she clashes with Akash. Paro gets the project from a company, not knowing that it is Akash’s. Soon after Akash learns that Paro has bagged a project from his company, he angrily tears the cheque. What happened next? Will Paro’s boss blame her? Will Paro get back the project? The rest of the series deals with the lives of Paro and Akash.
