‘Teen Diva’ was a show on MTV channel which had judged a contestant skill in a variety of ways. It was telecast in 2008 and 2009 in MTV channel. In the year 2008, MTV channel had come forward with a reality show called ‘Teen Diva India International 2008.' The girl had to convince the judges of their attitude and the ultimate winner diva got chosen by the end of the show. In 2008 season, it had 15 girls who had lined up for this contest.
While in the year 2009, the show had received over 1000 applicants for auditions and had only retained 11 participants for the show. The show was telecast for a total number of the eight-episode program which went on air in July-August 2009. The show took under considerations skills of the girls for ramp-walking, acting, creativity and cheerleading qualities. The winner of the contestant in 2009 was Apeksha Porwal.
Earlier too in the year 2008, a similar session of MTV Scooty Teen Diva was held, and the winner for 2008 was Koyal Rana. Both the winners had taken part as India's representative at the Miss Teen International beauty pageant in July 2009 and 2010 in Chicago, USA.
