Ashok Patki is an Indian music composer and director who works in the Marathi and Hindi film and television industries. He was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, on August 25, 1941, and attended Gopi Tank Municipal School for his secondary education. He has a sister and two brothers. Patki was less interested in schooling as his passion for music grew, and he decided not to attend college for further studies.
