“Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara” is a story woven around the life of a 35-year-old independent woman Saanchi, who struggles to manage her deceased father’s strawberry farm. In this serial, Vishnu Bholwani plays the role of Pradeep Prabhu an antagonist, and Saanchi’s elder cousin brother. Pradeep Prabhu tries to take over the strawberry farmland that belonged to Saanchi’s father and with a view to usurp the strawberry farmland, Prabhu files a case against his cousin sister Saanchi and also wins the case against her cousin sister which sends Saanchi into a state of depression. 

In the serial “Mere Rang Mein Rangne Wali”, Vishnu Bholwani plays the role of a lawyer named Himanshu Pathak. Externally the lawyer is a sweet person, but internally, he is a very greedy person. The serial produced by Rajshree productions was telecasted on the television channel Life Ok. The title of the serial was named in memory of a famous song in the movie Maine Pyar Kiya. But the telecast of the serial will be called off from July 10th due to poor TRP rates. 

Vishnu Bholwani is featuring in the serial Jodha Akbar, which is a historical story. It is a love story in which Jodha and Akbar are lovers. In this serial, Vishnu plays the role of Jagdev, a fighter and enters the life of Jodha-Akbar. Initially, Jagdev is a positive character supporting Akbar, the Mughal King and subsequently, he falls in love with Jodha which creates lots of twists and turns into the sequence of events in the life of Jodha and Akbar. 

Vishnu also plays a prominent role in the serial “Encounter”. Vishnu plays the role of an undercover agent in the serial. Vishnu has been offered a role in the movie “Rocky the Slave”

The series that he worked were "Balika Vadhu", "Laagi Tujhse Lagan", and "Miley Jab Hum Tum". He has in fact made his presence in Bollywood screen for the movie "OMG Oh My God!" in 2012. Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar, Nidhi Subbaiah, and Jaineeraj Rajpurohit were in the lead roles in this film. Jaineeraj Rajpurohit's role as "Alok Premkishor Shekhar" in Balika Vadhu is a promising act shown by him. The telecast of this show started on July 21, 2008 and it runs even till now.
