The story is about Ravi and Pratiksha, who come from two distinctive backgrounds, and how their life gets intertwined and get married to each other. Pratiksha Parekh, an optimistic girl, lives in her native village with her parents and two younger sisters. Due to an accident, the three sisters lose their parents and end up in Chandigarh in their uncle Pratik's house. Their aunt Hansa cunningly fixes Pratiksha's marriage alliance with a rowdy Malhar Thakur.

On the other hand, Ravi Randhawa has everything one wishes for, but he has more layers to his character. He is happily engaged to Kirti, a social worker who is the target of Malhar Thakur and his brother. On the day of their wedding, which happens to be the same day when Pratiksha and Malhar were supposed to get married, under some conditions, Malhar murders Kirti. The faith plays its game. Ravi and Pratiksha are married now figuring out ways to meet the ends and abiding by their relationship, along with facing some challenges and the regular humps of a marriage. The daily soap drama shows how cruel fate can be and the games played by it.
