Maan was telecast between 2001 and 2002 on DD Metro. It showcases a family drama centered around a Punjabi Family living in Mumbai known as the Maans. Daarji is the family’ head and patriarch. He runs a business along with four of his sons. They all live together in Mumbai with their sons, and their families. One of his sons passed away and his widow also lives with them. The show revolves around familial ties and bonds and the importance of family and how the characters adjust to their surroundings and the problems that they face often and how they overcome them.
