Kuntee TV Serial premiered on Doordarshan's DD Metro channel in 2002 as part of its revamp. Later, it moved to DD National from Doordarshan. Sri Adhikari Brothers Pvt Ltd. produced this TV series directed by Gautam Adhikari and aired Monday through Friday at 8:30 p.m. Kunti is a legendary drama with twists and one of the most-watched Doordharsan dramas. The Kuntee TV serial revolves around Kunti, an ambitious girl named Kunti. She loves to dance and has a keen interest in learning music, but her father disapproves of her interests and forces her to quit dance and music lessons. She is an ambitious but singularly unhappy girl who lives with her tyrannical father. He hates her very much because she looks like his mother with all his heart. She is disturbed and unable to find peace in any other work. Kuntee falls in love with a boy. She thinks she gets something adorable in her life.
But later, the boy also throws her away and runs away. She lives her life in distress. She has nowhere to go, and her family drives her out of their home. She also learns that she is pregnant with the boy's child and decides to give birth to the baby instead of having an abortion. She is also moved to an ashram in Mahila to find refuge there. She is happy with her child, but she lost her child to. The committee decides to take the child to daycare because Kunti is unmarried. It is against Indian culture to have a child before marriage. The keeper of the ashram passes away. The ashram needs a woman to take over and take care of it. Kunti decides to be a woman and takes over the management of the ashram. Also, when she comes to power, she decides to fight at least for her child to recover it. The show's story goes on the same ground creating lots of twists.
