Gori Tera Gaon Bada Pyaara is a Hindi serial broadcast on the DD National channel. In this serial, the problems faced by Sundarpur village in India are shown. The village sarpanch does not want that the village should progress and a washroom is installed in the village. The women of the village, due to no washroom facilities, face many problems. The Masterji, along with the female head teacher of the village, Kiran, pleads the Sarpanch to build a public toilet. Kiran is Masterji's daughter. The women say that they fall ill because of the unavailability of washrooms. One woman even got bitten by a snake. But their pleadinggo unnoticed by the members of the village.

The head female teacher of the village, Kiran, educates the village people, telling them that the unavailability of education is also keeping their village from progressing. People here are not interested in education, considering it a waste of time. Had they known all the schemes made by the government for the people of the village, they would have progressed. Noone in the village allows their children to go to school. Deepu, due to his love for Gauri, starts supporting their group for public washroom.
