Suddhasattwa Basu is a well-known Indian painter, illustrator, author, and animation filmmaker. He was born in 1956 in Chandannagar, West Bengal. Basu completed his studies in Fine Art (painting, graphics, and murals) at the Government College of Art and Craft in Kolkata. He started his career as an illustrator and designer for a children’s magazine company named Target. Basu’s works are exhibited in several national and international exhibitions.
