Badhiya Hai is a television series based on a Punjabi household living in Delhi. There are four main characters named Ananya, Aryan, Adity, and Akash. They are siblings. The story revolves around the Singhania family, that face various challenges in their lifestyles. Ananya is a successful businesswoman with a soft heart. She struggles with her emotional needs. She is insecure and she can't seem to cope with her insecurities. Aaryan is a musician who had to fight the suffocating pressure from his family to move into a stable career. Adity is a painter. She also faces similar difficulties. Her parents expect her to settle down and leave her passion behind. She can't seem to give up on her painting as it had become a part of her soul.

Aakash is the youngest sibling who is rebellious in his house. His parents don't consider him in high view but he doesn't let their opinions bother him. Although sometimes, he craves to be loved and cared for even if his ideologies differ from his conservative family. As the story progresses, these siblings support each other unconditionally. Parents try to understand their children over the generational gap. They face highs and lows, conflicts and misunderstandings but stay united. This series is filled with heartwarming scenes, laughter, tears, and overwhelming emotions.
