Gram Jagat is a Gujarati tv show aired on the DD-Girnar. DD-Girnar is “DD-10 GUJARATI”, the Gujarati language channel of India's national broadcaster Doordarshan from Doordarshan Kendra (Center) studios in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Doordarshan Kendra in Ahmedabad-established on March 15, 1976, under ISRO's Educational Satellite Television Experiment SITE project, and the 1 KW transmitter comes under PIJ, Kheda District. The studio operated from ISRO's premises in Ahmedabad, while the administrative office is at a polytechnic compound in Ahmedabad.
A few years later, identified, and a low-power LPT was installed in Ahmedabad at Thaltej Tekra on November 19, 1983. The studio was commissioned on October 2, 1987, while the regional language aired on, 30th December 1992. DD Metro channel was established on May 1, 1994, while Regional Language Satellite Channels (RLSC), DD GIRNAR 24 Hours on October 1, 1993.
