This epic story follows the incredible journey of Goddess Parvati and her alter-ego or other form known as Mahakali. She also created for them their female counterparts (Goddess Lakshmi for Lord Vishnu and Goddess Saraswati for Lord Brahma) to help them in their tasks.

Since God Shiva confessed his feelings for her, she promised to marry him through multiple earthly births. Therefore, it was his responsibility to transform these earthy incarnations into Mahakali. Lord Shiva failed 107 times, and she incarnated as Sati in the 107th birth. Then, she reemerges in this world as the daughter of the Himalayas called Princess Parvati.

Parvati’s dedication and love make her become Shiv’s wife. One day, demon King Shumbha comes to Mount Kailash with Nishumbha, his brother, to marry Parvati. Mount Kailash, which is Shiva and Parvati’s abode, becomes a place where many Gods and Goddesses take refuge due to war. Therefore, to save everyone from the demons, Parvati successfully transforms into Mahakali and starts killing them. Following her actions, other goddesses also wake their inner warriors to keep themselves safe.

Ultimately, Mahakali destroyed the despot Shumbha and many other Asuras, such as Mahishasura, Bhandasura, Tarakasura, Nishumbha, Raktabeeja, Chanda-Munda, etc. Kartikeya and Ganesha are also born to Shiva-Parvati. The story continues as Parvati Devi destroys numerous demons of much strength with the help of her many other divine forms. The soap opera teaches a moral lesson on unity in Shiv-parivar’s journey through various challenges.
