The show centers around the lives and loves of three sisters. Qirat, Zobia, and Amber are sisters but they are as different as chalk and cheese; they have dreams, desires, and ambitions of their own but above all, they are committed to loving and looking after their father. Having lost their mother quite early in their lives, the sisters are aware of the sacrifices their father has made. It has always been the three of them against the world. Although not particularly affluent, the family manages to fend well for itself and resides in a modest, middle-class neighborhood. But all is not safe in their world. Revenge, jealousy, deceit, and hate threaten to rip apart their happy lives.

The story starts when Zobia’s ex-boyfriend Arbaaz returns with a revenge scheme and starts blackmailing her. She had broken off the relationship when she realized his true colors but of course, he was not willing to take a no for an answer. His hatred threatens to embroil the lives of all three sisters as well as the lives of people who love them. It is decided that Zobia will be wedded before Amber. Qirat is worried that Arbaaz will go to extremes to humiliate Zobia. All hell breaks loose on the wedding day as letters and photographs from Zobia’s past reach her husband-to-be and his family. Crumbling under familial and social pressure, their father is left with no choice but to implore Hassam to accept Zobia’s hand in marriage. Seeing Mr. Hashim’s (the father) deteriorating health, Hassam is forced to bury his love for Amber and get married to her sister instead. 

But this is just the beginning. As tensions escalate in their lives along with the persistent presence of Arbaaz, Qirat is forced to reckon with the affections of two men: Shahwej and his quiet and serious cousin Wahaj. Qirat battles the pressures at work and the falling out between Amber and Zobia. But her heart favours Wahaj.
