In today’s rapidly changing reality TV world, one thing that has remained a constant favourite is Dance shows. One of the well-liked dance shows, ‘Super Jodi’ dance show. The show was aired on Zee Telugu channel, and it derives its concept from the dance show, ‘Nach Baliye’ where celebrity couples faced each other in dance challenges, this show had ten known figures from Sandalwood and television actors. The show had 42 episodes, and it was admired in South India and mostly catered to family audiences.

Pradeep and Krishna Koushik hosted the show, who are very well known hosts in Sandalwood. Their experience at this show helped them get into films. The show broadcasted on weekend nights, the timings being 8:30 PM. The dance show had a fantastic panel of judges; one of the judges is the famous choreographer in Tollywood, Raghu master, who recently got married and the other judge was Lakshmi Prasanna. Lakshmi is known for her works in the Telugu cinema and is an Indian film actress, producer and television star. The show had each and every star paired with either their significant other or their onscreen partner. Each pair had a choreographer, and they had to present a dance routine in front of the judges. Those who failed to perform got eliminated on Sundays.

Each week brought different challenges for the participants, for example; one week the contestants were provided with props, the other week had a challenge that could only use their legs for different moves and no hands. The show makers had an idea in their minds to bring the couples closer to each other and make them role models for other couples while providing entertainment to the audiences. This show had an over whelming response from the audience and rapidly became the star show of Zee Telugu.

People started calling this show the USP of the channel until the popular contestants Pallavi and Gokul locked lips on the show. This caused the show a setback, but otherwise, this show is a treat for everyone who watches it and people love it. All in all, the show is very entertaining to watch. The unique concept of the show forces us to watch the show. The choreographers also did a fantastic job in guiding the TV celebs. All the stars did extremely well and took the criticism well from the judges and implemented that into their dance routines.
