Kurukulasuriya Maureen O’Hara Perera, popularly known as Maureen Charuni, is a Sri Lankan cinema, television, and theatre actress. She was born on the 19th of September 1963. She is mainly known as an actress who plays young motherly roles in dramas and films. Maureen’s first film was Karadiya Walalla which was directed by Cyril Wickramage.

2. Ramya Wanigasekara
Kalabhushana Ramya Wanigasekara was born on the 17th of July, 1936, in Kotiyakumbura, Sri Lanka. She works as an actress in Sri Lankan cinema, Television, and theatre. Along with being an actor, she is also a playback singer and a news reader. Ramya entered the world of drama as a playback singer with Chandi Gunathilake’s, Hewayo in 1974. After that, she became the background singer for most of Jayatissa Alahakoon’s plays. She debuted as an actor with Ranjith Dharmakeerthi’s Hasthiraja Mahaththaya in 1976, where she played a minor role. However, her breakthrough came with the 1978 play Mana Ranjana Weda Warjana, directed by Chula Kariyawasam. She played the role of Gunawathi.

Thilanga Deshapriya is a renowned Sri Lankan film producer and assistant director. He attended Sivali Central College in 1992 to complete his graduation in maths and later went to University of Moratuwa in 1994 for NDT - Electronics and Telecommunications. After completing his education, Thilanga started working at Vision Works, Colombo, as a budgeting and production planner. In 1998, he joined Infinity Pictures Pvt Ltd, Colombo, as an assistant director and has been working there to produce Sinhala movies.

Thusitha Laknath is a famous Sri Lankan actor and Dramatist working in the television, theatre, and film industry. He was born on 7 September 1983 in Sri Lanka, and his full name is Thusitha Laknath Galindawattha. He completed his early education at Koswatta Jayawardena Vidyalaya and later went to Ananda College, Colombo, to complete graduation. Thusitha joined Tower Hall Theatre Foundation to complete his theatre education after finishing school. The first stage drama by Thusitha was based on an Italian novel titled Fontamarawa in 2000. In 2002, he appeared in another stage theatre titled The Doll's House. Thusitha Laknath worked as a stage manager to organize behind the scenes from 2002 to 2007.

8. Parakrama Jayasinghe
Parakrama Jayasinghe is a Sinhalese film director. He rose into prominence with is movies Que sera (2014), Cheerio Holman (2002) and Ekada Wahi (1994). He studied at St. Thomas College, Mt Lavinia and was later selected into the university of Jayewardenepura in 1972. His father was a successful businessman who used to import auto parts. After his father’s death, he overtook his buisness. While at school, he was a cadet and used to play rugby as well. He was also involved in the Sinhala Literary Society. He used to be interested in movies at an early age. He entered the Sinhalese film industry with his debut film Ekada Wahi, which he directed without having any prior experience in doing it.

Lakshman Mendis’s place of birth is Colombo, Sri Lanka. He finished his studies at Royal College, Colombo. His father’s name is Reggie Mendis, and he was a former member of the Central Committee of the LSSP (Lanka Sama Samaja Party). In the past, Reggie Mendis was the secretary of the Board of Education of the ancient LSSP. He was also considered the pivotal role of educating his party members to be trained & experienced in Marxism today. He married Geetha Shyamali of Balangoda. He has a son and a daughter. His son pursuing gemology at the University of Moratuwa and is also involved in the gem business. His daughter is pursuing psychology at the University of Cambridge, England.

10. Andrew Pulle
Andrew Pulle is a Sri Lankan actor famous for his work in the Sinhala television series. He played a role in the political thriller Koombiyo (English: Ants). The show premiered in ITN in 2017. The series aired on Saturdays and Sundays. He got the Raigam Tele’es Best Upcoming Teledrama Actor Award 2018 for the movie Koombiyo. His contribution to Sinhala television left a great mark and his performances have been appreciated by the audience. He is also famous for Review with Myles Barlow (2008). He played the role of Tiron Anthony in Koombiyo and also the role of a Cult member in one of the episodes.

He debuted as an actor in the 2010 adult drama film Karma, directed by Prasanna Jayakodi. His other films include Nikini Wessa, Ayu, Warigapojja, Kaala, Kodi Gaha Yata, Rahas Kiyana Kandu, Ginnen Upan Seethala, etc. His first short film as a director called Speck of Fire, was released in 2006.

Parister, and Achala Solomons was a lyricist.
