Ka Re Durva is about accomplishing the bigger dreams and making ends meet by working hard. It is about a couple named Aditi and Jay who lives in the city of dreams, Mumbai. Jay belongs to a middle-class family and wants to start his venture. At the same time, Aditi is from a well-to-do family. But she would like to earn a name for herself by her hard work and not on his father. Jay and Aditi get married, and Aditi’s father, Anil Dabholkar, doesn’t like it. Because Aditi is her only child, and she is battling because of Jay for even basic needs. Anil refuses to acknowledge Jay as his son-in-law and that Aditi has married him because of her choice.

To earn money and to help Jay, Aditi joins Dev Tours, run by Avinash Dev. The company’s policy bans married teams from taking a job there. But Aditi hides it because of her need. Because of disastrous situations, Jay's business goes haywire. He is also forced to join Dev Tours. Both Aditi and Jay keep their marriage secret. They try to control everything by telling different lies and behave like an ordinary colleague.

On the other hand, Avinash starts falling for Aditi, and the love threesome of Rajni and Jui with Jay starts. Aditi and Jay go to live in Badra and become close to their landlord. Eventually, the fault of the Dabholkar family falls on the shoulder Jay. Aditi’s father tries to harass Jay when they cross their path for business.

Jay decides to keep numb for Aditi’s sake. Avinash and Anil sign a deal, and Jay is made the project manager. Anil tries to make Aditi and Avinash together by planning various things. Anil threatened Jay that Additi should not leave Dev Tours; otherwise, he would withdraw financing and blame him. After much confusion, it is showed to all the office colleagues that Aditi and Jay are a married couple. Everybody accepts them as they have done many things for the good of the company. Serial ends on a happy note.
