MTV Roadies 2 was telecasted right after the huge success of the first season of the same show. Not much of a difference was made between the last season and this one. Even the prize money, which was a whopping Five Lakh Rupees last season, remained the same this year. Other than the prize money, a shining Royal Enfield Bullet was presented to the winner, which was a customized model only available to the officials of the Indian Army.

The ten contestants were subjected to much more challenging tasks in this season unlike the last one. One of the tasks involved swimming all the way through a rustling stream, and much more. Each task focused primarily on the level of adventure it incurred, and the performances were heavily scrutinized. Each contestant gave their best in performing religiously and in the most dedicated manner in the task. In this season, all the contestants had a very warm and supportive feeling towards each other. They were not at all competitive in a vicious manner, but at the same time, they gave their best in performing the challenges that they were introduced to.

When ‘ Ayushmann Khurrana This Vicky donor worked as radio jockey, Video joc >> Read More... ’ was announced as the winner of the show, the rest of the contestants picked him up on their shoulders and celebrated his victory as their own. This reflected the healthy relationship that was built between the contestants, which is very rare in reality shows, especially in India. Later on, Ayushmann went on to become a VJ for MTV and then within a few years entered Bollywood with his debut act in the well-accredited movie “ Vicky Donor Click to look into! >> Read More... ”, where he played the lead role. He was a journalism student before coming onto the show and had won awards for his acting skills during his college days.

Just like the first season, even this season didn’t show the auditions of the people other than the contestants. Other than that, the whole process remained the same. A lot of people were auditioned through the group discussions and finally a few were selected to appear in the personal interviews. Like the previous season, the selected contestants were subjected to live in different cities and perform various adventurous tasks. And then ride to other cities on their Hero Honda Karizma bikes to do the same. Finally, the winner was announced in the show’s finale.
