, etc., being shown on screen. Later, the Doordarshan would update its song collection to play the latest and greatest in Bollywood hits.
It was for half an hour duration which people would watch enthusiastically on every Friday. It was a must watch program for Hindi music song lovers. The viewers would wait for the videos of the latest songs in Hindi film music that were televised. Lately, ‘Chitrahaar’ has started using same language subtitling (SLS) mode which used to appear showing the lyrics scroll across the screen. This helped people to read and learn the whole lyrics of the song. Later, the program schedule was changed to every Wednesday at 8 pm. It had a mix of both old classic songs as the well as the latest from Bollywood.
