Jared Padalecki known for his roles in Gilmore Girls and films such as New York Minute and House of Wax. Jensen Ackles renowned for his roles in television as Jason Teague in Smallville, Eric Brady in Days of Our Lives. He played the lead role in the movie, My Bloody Valentine and gave a voice-over for the character of Jason Todd in the film, Batman: Under the Red Hood. The show follows Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki)brothers, who hunt and kill supernatural entities/ creatures. The series runs on folklore and urban legends, and the main adversaries throughout the series are demons. Misha Collins plays the role of Castiel/ Lucifer, Mark A. 

Sheppard as Crowley, Emily Swallow as Amara, a human stuck in the mix and Ruth Connell plays the role of Rowena. Season 11 begins with the aftermath of season 10, with the release of the ‘Darkness’. In this season, Sam and Dean, join forces with their allies, to stop and destroy the most powerful supernatural entity they have ever faced. Unlike anything, they have never gone up against before. ‘Darkness’ is known as the sister of God. The winchesters try to find ways to stop the ‘Darkness’ and along the way they keep hunting demons and helping and saving new characters. Season 11 also notes appearances of familiar faces from past seasons in one way or the other. Supernatural is a widely successful show with fans all over the world.

The success of the show is mainly due to the bond between the Winchester brothers played by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles for which they have won awards. Supernatural is a fantasy world filled with demons, angels, vampires, werewolves, shape-shifters, etc. which makes the show thrilling and the writers are always throwing in surprises for the fans. There is also some extent of humour between the characters which is great fun to watch.
