He never takes off his fake head, and none can guess what is going on his mind, nor can one deduce his expressions. What goes on inside the head of the fake head has been interesting to understand. His mind always revolves around music.
When there is a chance to showcase his musical ability, he is raring to go. But his friends do realize that he has been going through some worries that he isn’t revealing. Still, his weird choices of music keep his friends amused. Frank is a black comedy film directed by Lenny Abrahamson. Despite his face covered, Michael Fassbender mesmerized the audience with his acting for the titular role ‘Frank’. The film Frank received highly positive reviews from the critics. In the movie, an aspiring songwriter Jon meets Don, who manages an experimental rock band.
Jon is offered to join the band as a keyboard player, to which he gives his assent. His first performance goes well. He meets the band members and the mysterious band leader Frank who has covered his head with another fake head. After the entire team records their album, Don commits a suicide, and it has been understood that he had a mental breakdown. Jon has been uploading the band’s music, and they achieve a small following online.
They get an invitation to perform at Austin. When they arrive there, they understand that people followed their band not due to good music but because it was funny. Due to unfavorable turn off many events, Frank has a nervous breakdown and also the team splits. Frank disappears, and Jon finally finds him and sees his real face. It has got scars and spots due to the usage of a mask. He gets to know that Frank has mental health issues since childhood. The film comically throws light upon the fact that mental health troubles should not have been ignored. This trailer has received 397,009 views.
