Oh My God is the latest to join this list. The trailer looked promising. Now, let’s read further to understand what the film is all about. 

Plot

Tanish comes to Hyderabad for his new job as a software engineer. When he joins the office, to his shock, he learns that three employees are only assigned to the company. So he seeks the help of a magician, who adds to the shock of Tanish; he reveals that the employees are actually ghosts, and they are on a mission to take revenge of Tanish. So how Tanish escape from the clutches of the ghost makes the rest of the story. 

Star Performances

Analysis

Youngster Tanish is seen on the big screen after a long gap. Does Oh My God give the much-needed break to him? Well, given the subject of the story he has a lot of chances to make it big in the industry. 

What’s there?

  • The chemistry between the lead pair is quite impressive.
  • The twist in the film is executed well. 
  • Raju Thotta’s camerawork is one of the highlights of the film. 

What’s not there?

  • Few horror scenes could have been avoided. 
  • Certain scenes seem to be out of track. 
  • The second half could have been engrossing. 
  • Editor Upendra could have been crisper with his editing, and it seems the movie drags. 
  • The direction of Srivastav could have been much better. 
  • Raj Kiran’s music is passable. 

Verdict

A film has the making of a successful one but stumbles due to poor execution.
