Plot

Chanti is a JCB operator. He gets a gold idol and decides to sell it and buy two JCB machines to settle in his life. However, he loses the gold idol. Mallayya and Saroja are husband and wife. His father, Rajayya, resides with him. Mallayya is a cotton farmer who finds it hard to make ends meet. Who stole the idol from Chanti? What’s the connection between Chanti and Mallayya? The rest of the film speaks about this.

Star Performance

Brahmaji proves once again that he is a natural performer. His expressions are flawless. Aamani has done a fantastic job. She emotes so naturally. Dhanya is good with her performance. Sudhakar Reddy’s comical performance is good. Racha Ravi and Srinivas Avasarala are decent in their roles.

Analysis

The main theme of the film is what one doesn’t deserve and what doesn’t belong to one, which will never be theirs. Though the film has a decent storyline, there are some faults in the execution. A family plans to kill another family member will not impress the audience. The first half didn’t have much impact. The predictable incidents spoil the movie-watching interest. The romantic track seems to be forced. The script appears to have been inspired by a recent film with the lottery ticket as the main theme. The BGM is quite decent, and the visuals are neat. The editing should’ve been better in the first half.

• The first half is slow
• Certain sequences are unbelievable and not impressive
• The romantic tracks look forced

Verdict

If the first half had been a bit fast and the forced sequences had been avoided, the film would have been better.
