They set off for a trek in a haunted forest named Donakonda. In between the trek, they start experiencing some haunting incidents and feel the presence of a ghost. But as they don't have any other way out, they continue the trek with the hope that everything would fall into place. With time, the situations get more critical. Now how these friends would safeguard each other in this deadly forest is what the plot is all about.
Analysis: This movie is Suresh's first movie as a director, and he has worked really hard to enter the industry with a blast. Although the shortage of expenses could be clearly felt as the flick doesn't have any big names, but the story and good acting performances overshadow everything. If we talk about the technical department, then production values and cinematography are decent. Camera work is realistic. But Editing of the flick is below par. Although the cast of the film is not that impactful, the young blood has worked hard to make this a hit. Background score by Sai Karthik compliments the storyline.
Star Performances: All the cast is new but they have acted amazingly and at any point, we don't feel the absence of some big star. They truly prove that big stars are only required to attract audiences to cinema halls but for a good movie, one just needs a different story and some exceptional acting. Lokesh, Rajesh, Shashank, and Geethanjali portray a good tuning as best friends. Their portrayal of horror scenes is commendable. They have given a glimpse of their bright future.
