Harish Uthaman has worked in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films. Born on 5th April 1982, Harish entered the film industry with the 2010 Tamil flick Thaa. Later he worked as villain in Paandiya Naadu, Gouravam and Meagamann. Harish initially worked in Paramount Airways in the cabin crew department. Later he got himself associated with British Airways. Then he had a brief stint with an ad company in Chennai. Then Thaa happened which received good reviews. He worked hard for the film by growing a beard and darkening his skin. Surya Prabhakar was the director of this film. The film was not a commercial success but Harish received good critical acclaim. This flick was shown in the Tamil Film Festival in Norway. Harish fetched the Best Newcomer Award for this film. In the Festival, Harish got himself acquainted with Radha Mohan. Eventually, Radha Mohan casted Harish in his bilingual flick Gouravam, where the latter played a negative character. Harish gained accolades for his villainous performance in Pandiya Nadu.
