In late 1979 Ramdoss moved to Mylapore, Chennai, while attempting to make a career in the Tamil film industry he became acquainted with Manobala, a budding filmmaker who was his neighbor. Manobala then introduced to different personalities in the film industry including T. K. Mohan for whom Ramdoss wrote his first screenwriting in Karadi(1980) an unreleased film.

He did schooling at a government school and was not very good at academics but he had interest in extra-curricular activity. He had been influenced by the person and replicated the acting on the stage, which rewarded him with a first place in the competition.
