Plot
The protagonist is married and lives with his wife happily. To shatter his life, he gets a dream often that he is close with some women. Soon, he visits a doctor and discusses his dream with him. The doctor suggests to write his dreams in a diary, and he does the same. As he writes something secretly, his wife suspects him. and one day, after he sleeps, she searches for the diary. She is shocked, thinking that the incidents mentioned in the diary happened. She leaves the house and sends him a divorce notice. What will be her husband’s response? The rest of the story deals with the efforts taken by the protagonist to convince his wife.
Star Performance
KC Prabath is okay in the given role. Devika Venu has given a measured performance.
Analysis
The black box in an aircraft carries secrets, and the same goes with the Karuppu Petti, which has the hero’s secrets. The director means to say that opening a secret box unnecessarily will lead to a heartbreak. The screenplay is not gripping. Writing such a poor dream in a diary? Will any doctor suggest this? If that’s the case, the doctor should’ve called upon his wife for a counselling session and explained to her about her husband’s dream. There are a lot of loopholes in the film. The visuals are okay. The BGM didn’t get well with the sequences.

Karuppu Petti showcases how doubt changes the fate of a happy family. Some logical scenes and tight writing would’ve made a better film.
