She is a model turned actress. She is from Bangalore and has been a part of Tollywood and Kannada films. Her parents are doctors and run a hospital in Bangalore. Pranitha was a model by profession before she stepped into acting. She debuted in the year 2010 opposite in Porki, a remake of a Telugu hit film with the same name.

Shiva Rajkumar is the populous Kannada actor, who was born in the year 1962. He is the son of the veteran Kannada actor Raj Kumar. Shiva Raj Kumar was born in Chennai and he is the eldest one in the family. Raghavendra Rajkumar and Puneeth Rajkumar are his younger brothers and he has two sisters too. He did his graduation in chemistry in Chennai, New College. After completing his graduation, he joined M. G. R. Film and Television Training Institute to learn acting. He is also a Kuchipudi dancer.
